|Cincinnatians John Campbell and Tad Lawrence, with special guest and national recording artist, Russell Walden will host a An Evening for the Arts Dinner Concert on Friday April 7 , 2017 benefiting The Children’s Home of Cincinnati arts programs. Cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner in the Great Hall of the Cincinnati Art Museum. The benefit concert will be held in the Fath Auditorium from 8:00 – 9:30 p.m. |
Walden is most famously known for his accompanist of national recording artist Judy Collins. The trio will be joined on stage by Sophie Blatt, a budding artist at University of Cincinnati’s College of Conservatory of Music; Edy Dreith, a well-known Cincinnati vocal artist and member of the vocal trio, The Queen City Sisters, as well as children from The Children’s Home of Cincinnati.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner and a musical concert. The event will take place at the Cincinnati Art Museum, 953 Eden Park Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Tickets are $125.00.
Proceeds from this special event will benefit Fine Arts programming for campus-based education programs at The Children’s Home of Cincinnati. Arts are embraced as a tenet for not only treatment, but as a way to enrich the educational experience encountered by these students, a population that tends to be at-risk beyond the normal scope.
